GELEC

The SHRIRO Group, the parent company of GELEC, was founded in 1906 by the Shriro family in Harbin, China. It started as a trading business, mainly in furs and leathers.


The first overseas office was opened in Kobe, Japan, in the late 1920s. Today, the group has evolved into a truly international business group, headquartered in Hong Kong, with more than 3,500 professionals working in 15 countries around the world.

The Group has four business sectors: Technical, Imaging, Sport, and Marketing. Its business covers manufacturing, distribution and retail, and marketing of premium brands throughout Asia Pacific, Europe, and America.
